Each elected offcial should agree to the Voter Bill of Rights:

1. Holding political office is a privilege, not a right
2. I work for The Voters — not for party leaders,  governors, Congress, the president, large donors, or special interests
3. I will act in the interest of voters, not party leadership
4. I will make myself available to constituents and the press
5. I will answer questions directly without evading the issue
6. I will stand up to political leadership if it is right to do so
7. I will do the right thing even if directed otherwise by Political Power Players
8. I will be beholden to one special interest: The Country
9. I will do my job
10. If I disagree with the items above, I will get a different job
